Dr. Eisenstat has been at South Nassau Dermatology for over 20 years. He grew up in Queens and graduated from MIT and the University of Pennsylvania, where he received an advanced degree in physics and biophysics. He then received his medical degree from New York University Medical School in 1975. He completed his medical internship at Lenox Hill Hospital in 1976 and his dermatology residency at NYU Medical Center in 1977. Dr. Eisenstat did two years of research in inflammation before going into full-time clinical medicine. For five years he was on the faculty at Westchester Medical Center, where he was in charge of dermatology resident teaching.
