Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:I worked in healthcare policy and really found the nurses I had worked with to have such a large impact on their patients. I wanted to provide direct care and positively influence my patients.What I want my patients to know about me:I practice evidence-based medicine. I have worked a majority of my career in emergency nursing and completed my career in clinical nursing in the ICU. I have become an nurse practitioner to provide comprehensive care to those I treat. What I do when I'm not seeing patients:I enjoy my dog, family time and vacationing at the beach or some place warm!
