Brief Intro

Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:I started college as a chemistry major. Very quickly I realized that I wanted to be involved with people not behind a desk or in a lab. Nursing seemed like a way to accomplish that. I have loved every minute since making that change both during my education and the years since then. What I want my patients to know about me:My favorite part of my job is being with my patients. I am happiest in my exam room with the day-to-day task of caring for others. Heart failure is a complex disease that often progresses. I hope to offer my patients and families education, stability, support and quality of life during their heart failure journey. What I do when I'm not seeing patients:I love spending time with my daughters, my husband, and my mom. I enjoy exercising at the gym and running when I am not taking kids to various activities. My favorite spot is in a beach chair staring at the ocean.
