Dr. Rush earned his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Vermont. He completed his internship at Fitzsimmons Army Medical Center in Denver and his residency in anesthesiology at the Brooke Army Medical Center. Dr. Rush served in both the U.S. Army and Navy, and as a Commander for the United States Naval Reserves. his position at Brackenridge, Dr. Rush has worked in private practice since 1978.
