Thomas J. Thibault, DMD Dr. Thibault has been setting the highest standards of excellence in orthodontics for decades! He earned his undergraduate degree from Assumption College in Worcester, Massachusetts before earning his dental degree and completing his specialized post-graduate training in orthodontics from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. An esteemed member of the orthodontic community, Dr. Thibault is an active member of many leading dental and orthodontic organizations, including the: American Dental Association Connecticut State Dental Association New London County Dental Association American Association of Orthodontists Northeast Society of Orthodontists Connecticut State Society of Orthodontists Round Table Orthodontic Study Club Dr. Thibault is proud to be a member of the Connecticut State Dental Association's Council on Continuing Education, on which he has served for nearly thirty years. This group of dedicated professionals assembles a series of educational seminars and meetings for the dentists of Connecticut that has been acclaimed by many to be one of the best in the country. Beause of Dr. Thibault's commitment to constantly update his skills and expertise, he regularly attends continuing education courses that focus on orthodontics, as well as other disciplines that relate to his practice. Recently, Dr. Thibault was awarded a Fellowship in the Pierre Fauchard Academy, an international honor society for dentists. It recognized him for his contributions to organized dentistry and his community. He also enjoys giving back to his community by participating in the Niantic Rotary Club. He has been honored twice by his club with the Paul Harris Award in recognition of his contributions to the local community and the world community.
