Dr. Ward began practicing medicine in 1986, where he graduated with a combined civilian military pediatric residency. He started his pediatric career with three years in the United States Air Force at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in North Carolina.He says the kids keep him smiling, and his favorite part of his job is seeing the kids and families grow. He has special interests in asthma, sports medicine and newborn care. When he isn't at work, he is spending time with his family, gardening or traveling the world.
