Dr. Joseph is a Sports Medicine specialist whose practice focuses on arthroscopic and reconstructive shoulder, elbow and knee surgery. Specific interests include knee ligament reconstruction, rotator cuff repair and shoulder instability. Dr. Joseph graduated from John Carroll University, Cleveland, Ohio in 1992 and received his MD from The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio in 1996. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation in 2001. This was followed by a fellowship in Sports Medicine (shoulder and knee surgery) at The Steadman Hawkins Clinic in Vail, Colorado. There he was involved in providing team coverage to The Denver Broncos, Colorado Rockies and United States Ski Team. Dr. Joseph is currently a consultant to the Mahoning Valley Scrappers Minor League baseball organization and is Medical Director of Sports Medicine for Humility of Mary Health Partners/St. Elizabeth Hospital. Dr. Joseph is Board Certified by the ABOS and is a member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM), Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA) and the Mahoning Valley Medical Society.
