Dr. Huang is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in pediatrics and board certified in clinical genetics and clinical molecular genetics by the American Board of Clinical Genetics. He received his medical degree from the Fujian Medical University and his PhD in Biomedical Sciences from Mt. Sinai School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency training in pediatrics at Georgetown University Medical Center, and his clinical genetics and clinical molecular genetics fellowship at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Huang is an Associate Professor, Pediatrics with the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine where he received the UCI Dean's Physician-Scientist Award. He is also fluent in Chinese (Mandarin).
