Dr. Bearss earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry from Michigan State University in East Lansing. He received his medical degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, followed by an internship at the National Naval Medical Institute in Bethesda, Maryland. Dr. Bearss completed his residency at Portsmouth Naval Hospital in Portsmouth, Virginia. Dr. Bearss is board certified in urology and has extensive experience in his field, including serving as chief of the Department of Urology at Naval Hospital, NAS in Jacksonville, Florida and medical director of the Northeast Florida Bladder and Pelvic Floor Treatment Center.
