Reed B. Hogan is one of the gastroenterologists at the Flowood GI Associates and Endoscopy Center and the Madison GI Associates and Endoscopy Center. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at Delta State University and went on to pursue a Doctor of Medicine at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine. He fulfilled his residency and internship requirements in Internal Medicine at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and completed a fellowship in Gastroenterology at Baylor University Medical Center. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Dr. Hogan was elected by his peers for inclusion in Best Doctors in America: 1996-2018. He has an extensive list of research experience, has been active in pharmaceutical development and holds patents for treatments of various GI disorders, and has authored numerous scientific publications. In addition to working at the GI Associates, he has previously served as Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine and is Chairman of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE) special interest group for Ambulatory Endoscopy Centers for the last 10 years and also has served on the Practice Management Committee for ASGE. Dr. Hogan has also been listed in the 2012 Beckers The 125 Gastroenterologists to Know. Dr. Hogan is affiliated with most major hospitals in the area and is accepting new patients.
