She is a partner in Eye Associates of the South, which is the only eye practice on the Mississippi Gulf Coast in which every M.D. is both board certified and fellowship trained. Eye Associates of the South has three clinics - in Biloxi, Gulfport and Ocean Springs, MS. As a corneal specialist, Dr. Bahadur has broad experience in diagnoses, treatment, and surgical expertise in corneal disease (ex.anterior segment reconstruction, corneal transplants, dry eye disease, and amniotic membrane use). In addition, she has a great deal of experience and expertise in the field of refractive surgery for the correction of myopia (nearsightedness), hyperopia (far-sightedness), and astigmatism. She performs various refractive surgeries (ex. LASIK, LASEK, astigmatic keratectomy) based on the needs of each individual patient. Of great interest to Dr. Bahadur and her staff is the diagnosis and treatment of dry eye disease, also known as dysfunctional tear syndrome. Eye Associates of the South has been named the %u201CDry Eye Treatment Center for the MS Gulf Coast%u201D and has helped countless numbers of patients with various ocular problems arising from having dry eye syndrome.
