Dr. Paul B. Murray is currently in private practice in Hartford, CT with other locations in Enfield and Avon, CT. Dr. Murray is a general orthopaedist, however he has a strong interest in hip and knee replacement surgery as well as knee and shoulder arthroscopy.
Dr. Murray graduated from Tufts University School of Medicine in 1987. He completed his internship in general surgery at the State University of New York Health Science Center in Syracuse, NY in 1988. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the State University of New York Health Science Center in 1992. After the completion of his orthopaedic residency Dr. Murray went on to complete a fellowship in adult reconstructive joint surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota in 1993. He received his board certification from the American Academy of Orthopaedic surgery in 1995 and was recertified in 2001. Dr. Murray is an active member of the Connecticut Medical Society, the Hartford County Medical Association and the American Medical Association. Dr. Murray is also privileged to be an active member of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons.
Dr. Murray has authored and co-authored several publications regarding hip and knee replacement surgery. He is quite active in the community providing free seminars on the arthritic hip and knee to the public on a regular basis.
