Dr. Merchant is a Senior Attending member of the Medical Staff at Middlesex Hospital. Board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the ABIM subspecialty of Pulmonary Disease, she graduated from Aga Khan University in Pakistan. Dr. Merchant completed her residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago Medical Center, and a Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine fellowship at Yale University.
