Dr. Valdez arrived in this country from the Philippines. He moved to the United States to begin his orthopedic residencies at United Hospital in Newark, NJ and then St. Josephs Hospital & Medical Center in Paterson. His love of orthopedics has spanned a very prestigious career. From 1981 throughout 1997, Dr. Valdez authored 18 publications or lectures around the globe. It is apparent that not only has Napoleon Valdez garnered the benefits of a rewarding career, but beyond that, he has given-back and found profound purpose in a multitude of voluntary positions. Dr. Valdezs favorite specialty is hand/wrist surgery but also specializes in shoulders.
