Brief Intro

Dr. Gorsky is originally from Philadelphia. He attended The University of Cincinnati for both college and medical school. He trained in Internal Medicine at The University of Virginia, and in Gastroenterology at Rush, Presbyterian, St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago. Dr. Gorsky joined our practice in 1990 and has been board certified in Gastroenterology since 1991. His interest in inflammatory bowel disease comes from personal experience. He was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis at age 10 and required a colectomy and ileoanal pouch in 1997. He is active in The Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America. In his spare time he enjoys nature, travel, exercise and reading. He has been married to his wife, Jane, since 1982 and they have three children.
