Dr. Michael G. Kanosky is a board-certified plastic surgeon serving the community of Flowood, MS and the surrounding Jackson, MS areas. He performs a wide variety of aesthetic surgeries for the face, breast, and body, as well as numerous laser treatments to nonsurgically enhance the appearance of the skin and treat certain irregularities. With the diversity of his procedures, Dr. Kanosky can help restore physical appearance and functionality for his patients. He also spends his time instructing prospective surgeons as Clinical Instructor in the Division of Plastic Surgery for the Department of Surgery at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Dr. Kanosky has experience and skill with many common aesthetic surgeries including breast augmentations, breast reductions, abdominoplasties, and various body contouring procedures for extreme weight loss patients. Common skin removal surgeries performed by Dr. Kanosky for patients at the end of their weight loss journey may include an arm lift, thigh lift, or a lower body lift. For rejuvenation of the skin, Dr. Kanosky offers multiple nonsurgical approaches using laser treatment. This method can be used to treat veins, skin lesions, scars, and to tighten the skin without the downtime associated with surgery. Additional laser treatments provided by Dr. Kanosky include laser hair removal, laser tattoo removal, and nonsurgical vaginal rejuvenation. Dr. Kanosky received his Doctorate in Medicine from the Louisiana State University School of Medicine. He then completed an internship and general surgery residency in New Orleans at Charity Hospital and Louisiana State University Medical Center affiliated hospitals. Afterward, he completed a research fellowship in plastic and reconstructive surgery at The University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS.
