Michael J Safian, DDS Dr. Safian is a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon.  He has practiced the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery in Connecticut since 2003.  This includes extraction & wisdom tooth surgery, implant surgery, biopsies, trauma and reconstruction.  Dr. Safian is a graduate of Adelphi University (1988) and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from New York University College of Dentistry (1998).  Following a fellowship in at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City, he completed his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Hospital of Saint Raphael/Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, Connecticut.  Personally, Dr. Safian has been married to Lisa since 1989 and they have two wonderful children.  In his spare time he skis, plays tennis, golf, and soccer and spends most of his spare time having fun with the family.
