Joseph Dell'Orfano, MD, FACC graduated from Fairfield University and received his medical degree in 1991 from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. He completed training in Internal Medicine at the University of Connecticut and was Chief Medical Resident at St. Francis Hospital. He was a fellow in Cardiology at the University of Texas in Houston and completed his Cardiology at the Pennsylvania State University, where he also completed his training in Cardiac Electrophysiology. He joined the faculty of the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1999 before joining Arrhythmia Consultants of Connecticut in September, 2001. Dr. Dell'Orfano is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology. He has conducted research on atrial fibrillation, fetal pacing and cellular repair of the cardiac conduction system.
