Before joining Kalispell OB./GYN in 2004, Dr. John Lavin was in solo OBGYN practice in Kalispell. He has been a physician for 31 years, having started his career in family practice. Dr. Lavin is a board certified OB./GYN, receiving his medical degree from the University of Nevada Medical School. He was in a rural family practice in Powell, Wyoming before joining a group family practice in Kalispell. He then returned to University of Colorado in 1989 to pursue his OB./GYN specialty training. He loves to deliver babies and help women who have pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding or prolapsed organs. Dr. Lavin and his wife, Anita, have seven children, 4 girls and 3 boys. The older four children are married and on their own, and the younger three are still at home. The Lavins love the people of Montana and are blessed to call Kalispell their home.
