Dr. Jess DeMaria obtained his undergraduate degree in 1981 from The University of Toledo where he graduated summa cum laude. He was a varsity letter winner and four year member of the Rocket football team. He obtained his medical degree in 1985 from The Ohio State University and completed residencies in both internal medicine and dermatology at The Ohio State University Hospitals from 1985 through 1991. He has been a Board Certified Dermatologist since 1991. He maintains his Ohio State University College of Medicine affiliation as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine and Dermatology and has been an active member of the teaching faculty for over 15 years as a preceptor in the dermatology residency program. He also has been a member of the Ohio Dermatologic Association Board of Trustees. Dr. DeMaria specializes in general dermatology and dermatologic surgery.
Personal Background:
Dr. DeMaria is originally from Oregon, Ohio. He is happily married to his wife Kelley and has 3 children, Vinny, Anthony and Janey. In his spare time, Dr. DeMaria has coached middle school football at St. Brigid of Kildare School in Dublin for the past 8 years. He is an avid Buckeye supporter and he and his wife have endowed The Ohio State University with The DeMaria Family Scholarship.
