Dr. Zavala received his BA from the University of Denver and graduated Cum Laude in Sports Sciences and Biology. He received his MD from the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Dr. Zavala completed his family practice residency at Phoenix Baptist Hospital and Health Center. Additionally, he did a fellowship in Advanced Women%u2019s Health and Procedural Family Practice at the University of Tennessee Memphis. Before joining Ogden Clinic, Dr. Zavala spent seventeen years practicing in Red Lodge, Montana. He and his family are passionate skiers and love the %u201CGreatest Snow on Earth%u201D that Utah offers. Professionally, his interests are in sports medicine, prevention and wellness and providing patients with a medical home.
