As a physician, I enjoy the challenge of helping patients with complex foot and ankle problems including arthritis, tendon disorders or ruptures and sports injuries. I believe that successful outcomes in foot and ankle surgery rely on establishing a physician-patient relationship by taking time to listen and understand the concerns of the patient as well as set appropriate expectations through patient education.
I am board-certified in orthopedic surgery by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons specializing in surgery of the foot and ankle including minimally invasive surgery of the foot and ankle, ankle replacement and fusion, Achilles tendon disorder, foot and ankle ligament repair, Charcot reconstruction, sports injuries of the foot and ankle and many other conditions. I earned my medical degree at Temple University School of Medicine, and completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at Temple University Hospital and a fellowship in orthopedic foot and ankle surgery at Duke University Hospital. I am currently a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery (AAOS), American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS), Duke Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society, Alpha Omega Alpha.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two daughters as well as playing golf, BBQing and cooking.
