Dr. Fernando Colon is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and received his medical degree from the University of Central Del Este Medical School in the Dominican Republic. Having excelled at his general surgery residency at Mount Carmel Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio, Dr. Colon went on to complete his plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. During his residency at Wayne State University, Dr. Colon worked with some of the country's most prestigious plastic surgery institutions including Manhattan Eye and Ear Hospital, Kressge Eye Institute and Wayne State University. With over 15 years of experience performing plastic, aesthetic and reconstructive procedures, Dr. Colon brings the latest advancements and skills in plastic and cosmetic surgery to The Skin Center Medical Spa. As the medical director for the Skin Center Medical Spa in Columbus, Ohio, Dr. Colon has extensive experience in the QuickLift and performs cosmetic plastic surgery procedures such as liposuction, Smart Lipo, tummy tucks and breast augmentation.
