Dr. Erin Shamroth completed her pediatric residency training at Dartmouth Medical Center. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and over the last year, has played a leadership role in the Section for Medical Students, Residents and Fellowship Trainees. She is board eligible in pediatrics and is certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Basic Life Support and the Neonatal Resuscitation Program. Dr. Shamroth completed her undergraduate degree at Boston College and attended medical school at University College Cork in Ireland. During residency, Dr. Shamroth was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha in recognition of exemplary teaching of medical students. During her residency, Dr. Shamroth was involved in advocacy efforts focused on decreasing the number of uninsured children on a local level. She also implemented preventive health care information sessions at community elementary schools, providing guidance on nutrition, influenza and concussions. Dr. Shamroth has special interests that include mental health, ADHD and sports medicine. Dr. Shamroth enjoys traveling, reading and hiking in her free time.
