Dr. Fester graduated with distinction from the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado and received his medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences in Bethesda, Md. He joins SRMG from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, where he served as chief of surgical administrative services, orthopedic surgeon and clinical assistant professor of orthopedic surgery. Dr. Fester is a Member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is associated with Mercy Memorial Hospital and Springfield Regional Medical Center and will have offices in Springfield.
