David Rogers, MD earned his medical degree from Wright State University and completed his training in ophthalmology at Indiana University. After residency, Dr. Rogers remained at Indiana University where he completed his fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus. Dr. Rogers is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus.
Dr. Rogers is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. As a member of the Medical Staff at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, he is actively involved in the training of residents and was awarded the Makley-Battles Resident Teaching Award for excellence in medical education in ophthalmology.
In addition to his private practice, Dr. Rogers is very active in research and serves as the Director of Pediatric Eye Research at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. His clinical and research interests include pediatric and adult strabismus, retinopathy of prematurity, pediatric cataracts and pseudotumor cerebri.
