Dr. Wolinsky join the staff of Cleveland Clinic Florida in 2011. He received his undergraduate and M.D. degrees from Columbia University. He carried out his postgraduate training and then spent seven years on staff at St. Lukes Hospital in New York City before joining Albany Associates in Cardiology in Albany, New York where worked from 1989 through 2011. Dr. Wolinsky was director of nuclear cardiology from 1991-2011. He was director of heart failure and director of cardiac Rehabilitation and Wellness at St. Peters Hospital prior to his arrival at Cleveland clinic. Dr. Wolinsky is a leader in nuclear cardiology. He is a founding member of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology. He is a member of its the Board of Directors is and its quality assurance committee. He is an active teacher and lectures at both regional and national meetings. He is actively involved in clinical nuclear cardiology research. He is the founder of the Nuclear Cardiology department at Albany Associates in Cardiology. Dr. Wolinsky is also involved in heart failure management. He was medical director of the heart failure program at St. Peters Hospital prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Florida. He was responsible for nursing education and was in charge of the Heart Failure Quality Assurance program. Dr. Wolinsky is is a champion for community education for heart disease. He lectured frequently on cardiovascular risk reduction and heart failure as part of his role as director of Cardiac Rehab and Wellness.
