A native of Chicago, Dr. Kaden is a graduate of the University of Illinois, with high honors, and the University of Illinois College of Medicine with honors, where he received the Williamson Award as the outstanding student in Internal Medicine. He served as President of Alpha Omega Alpha, the National Medical Honor Society.
Dr. Kaden completed a residency in Internal Medicine and a dual fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology and Hematology.
Since 1978, Dr. Kaden has been in private practice as a partner in Cancer Care &
Hematology Specialists of Chicagoland and serves as CCHSC Practice President. He is on the staff of Lutheran General Hospital. Dr. Kaden has enjoyed participating in the teaching program at Lutheran General Hospital where he has been recognized for excellence in the teaching of both medical students and residents. Dr. Kaden’s primary focus is in the provision of technically advanced medical care for his patients in the context of a kind, thoughtful and compassionate relationship.
