Dr. Klein hails from New York City. He completed his medical school training at
State University of New York at Buffalo, where he received awards for excellence in internal medicine. Dr. Klein completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas and a Fellowship in
Hematology/Oncology at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis. He has also completed a
fellowship in Medical Oncology at the City of Hope National Medical Center in Duarte, California.
Dr. Klein has been in private practice in Cancer Care & Hematology Specialists of
Chicagoland with special interests in the treatment of Hematological malignancies with experience in autologous and allogenic blood and bone marrow transplants. His many honors include the Gibson Anatomical Society in 1972, Junior AGA in 1974, Philip P. Sanger Award for excellence in Internal Medicine and the Alumni Award for excellence in clinical clerkships.
Dr. Klein is married with two sons and in his spare time enjoys sports, music and travel.
