With the opportunity to create positive, nurturing relationships with patients and their families, Dr. Almasanu joined the pediatric team in 2006. After graduating cum laude from The Ohio State University, he earned his medical degree from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine where he received the Social Medicine/Medical Humanities Award and the Pediatrics Award. Dr. Almasanu did his residency at Maimonides Medical Center, Infants and ChildrenÂ’s Hospital of Brooklyn in New York. He is a clinical assistant professor with OSU and has precepted residents and medical students in his previous position. Dr. Almasanu looks forward to the chance to affect change in the healthcare attitudes and practices of young people. He lives in Bexley with his wife Wendy and their 2 sons.
