Barry S. George MD joined the Department of Specialty Care- Cardiovascular Services at Knox Community Hospital in November 2016. Dr. George completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, OH, after obtaining his doctorate at The Ohio State University in Columbus. After completing his residency, Dr. George completed three fellowships specializing in cardiology, two in Columbus and one in Dally City, CA. Dr. George has authored 103 publications, the majority relating to cardiovascular health and research. Dr. George is an asset to the community; with his extensive research and knowledge, he provides patients with the quality care they need.
