Dr. Anglim joined the faculty at USC in September 2005 from a infectious diseases practice based in a tertiary care facility in Florida. She is utilizing her vast experience, extending from a high-volume consultative practice in infectious disease to her volunteer work in impoverished tropical environments, as a clinician-educator in the division. In addition to extensive teaching and patient care, she is engaged in epidemiologic research. While she has already has publications in healthcare epidemiology, on topics that include vancomycin-resistant enterococcal infections and catheter-related bloodstream infections, she has initiated new projects pertaining to emerging infections and the geographic distribution of disease. Dr. Anglim will also be serving with Dr. Paul Holtom on the Infection control and Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committees.
