About Dr. Parker (edit)
Dr. Parker is the Chief of the Ear, Nose and Throat Department at Norwalk Hospital. He enjoys treating children and adults. In addition to his inclusion in the Connecticut Magazine's Top Doctor list, Dr. Parker has been named to the prestigious Castle-Connolly Best Doctor's in America list.
Dr. Parker and his staff of licensed audiologists and a Physician Associate treat all Ear, Nose and Throat problems in children and adults throughout Fairfield County. Our goal is to provide you with the finest medical treatment, in an empathetic and caring environment. Dr. Parker and staff incorporate tried and true medical techniques with today's most advanced technologies and alternative therapies.
Dr. Parker's training in Pediatric ENT allows him to help you make the best medical choices for your child. While not practicing medicine, Dr. Parker is the lead singer for two local rock and roll bands. His training as a vocalist gives him unique insight into the voice problems of performing artists, and notable professionals frequently travel a great distance to seek his opinion.
Dr. Parker was the FIRST doctor in the state of Connecticut to perform Balloon Sinuplasty (Widening of the sinuses with a Balloon) back in 2006. He is also one of only two physicians in Connecticut able to place the LYRIC implantable hearing aid.
Dr Parker is the ONLY surgeon in the tri-state area using Thermal Fusion Tissue Welding for tonsillectomy, as seen on ABC's 20/20. This cutting edge technique decreases recovery time, and has less postoperative pain thsn traditional tonsil removal techniques.
