Danielle has always found medicine to be fascinating. With a desire to help others she chose to become a physician assistant because it allows her to practice in several areas of medicine, work as part of a team, and have a direct impact on her patients health. Danielle started her career in emergency medicine. When she comes to work Danielle looks forward to operating within a team environment. She knows each patient's experience provides her with a learning opportunity to grow and better herself.Danielle's mother is a nurse in radiation oncology. After observing her mother care for ill patients over the years, Danielle has come to fully understand the values of sympathy and compassion.Danielle volunteers as medical staff for the Muscular Dystrophy Association Summer Camp at Sherman Lake. In her spare time, Danielle enjoys swimming laps and playing soccer. She also loves to explore new places and photograph nature.I believe medicine is best practiced using a team based approach that strives to provide the highest quality of care in all facets. I recognize that every patient’s journey is unique and I am committed to developing a plan specific to each individual's health care goals and lifestyle. Through effective communication with my patients and their families, I seek to ensure their values and decisions are respected.
