Carly knew becoming a physician assistant was the perfect career for her because she has a passion for helping others and also loves learning about the human body and how it works. Being involved in multiple sports growing up she developed a strong interest in orthopedics. It wasn't until her clinical training where she developed a strong passion for surgery.Carly says her parents have been the biggest influences in her life. They have always been very encouraging and a constant support. She frequently goes to them for advice.In her free time, Carly feels passionate about keeping the environment clean, assisting with picking up litter along highways and rivers. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, spending time on the lake and reading a good book.Carly has special interest in preventive medicine and helping patients achieve an active and healthy lifestyle.My approach to giving the best care is to develop a great patient - provider relationship, first. It's very important to get to know patients and discuss their individual health goals and expectations. By doing so, we can work together to develop a perfect individualized plan.
