Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:I had a gynecologic problem when I was 7 years old. Since then, I've wanted to help women deal with their female problems.What I want my patients to know about me:I have been a nurse practitioner for over 40 years and was one of the first in the state of Pennsylvania. I grew up in Clearfield County and lived in New Orleans for over 30 years, before returning to Pennsylvania. I am a Hurricane Katrina survivor.What I do when I'm not seeing patients:I read all kinds of books and help take care of my grandchildren. I also love to shop.
