Troy K. Edwards, MD, PhD, FACS, is a board-certified urologist practicing general urology but specializing in minimally invasive surgical techniques. He completed his bachelor's degree with highest honors from Rutgers University, Piscataway, N.J. Dr. Edwards also completed a MD/PhD program joint with Rutgers University and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ Robert Wood Johnson Medical School). His completed his PhD graduate work in pharmacology at the Cancer Institute of New Jersey. Dr. Edwards subsequently completed a urology residency at UMDNJ Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, N.J. Edwards has specialty training in minimally invasive surgery techniques, including the da Vinci robotic systems and laparoscopic and ureteroscopic surgeries. Edwards is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
