Dr. Thomas Rossi is originally from Hopedale, Illinois. He received his undergraduate degree from Illinois State University and his doctorate in medicine from Chicago Medical School at North Chicago. He completed his internship and surgical residency at Cook County/University of Illinois Hospital at Chicago. Dr. Rossi is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. He has served as an instructor of surgery as well as an assistant clinical professor of surgery at Cook County Hospital. He currently is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Surgery at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria. Dr. Rossi is on the active staff at three Peoria hospitals, as well as in Pekin. Dr. Rossi resides in Morton, Illinois with his wife Dr. Janice Takata-Rossi and their nine children. He joined the staff at PMH in December 2006 as a member of Princeton Surgical Services.
