Brief Intro

Stephen G. Smith, M.D. began his medical practice after completing his OB/GYN residency specialty training in 1989 by joining his fathers practice here in Panama City. He is a graduate of Bay High School, class of 1977. He went on to receive his undergraduate degree at Florida State University, his medical school degree at the University of Florida, and completed his residency training at the University of South Florida in Tampa. He has practiced in Panama City for 23 years and he has delivered over 4000 babies. Dr. Stephen G Smith received from Gulf Coast Medical Center the 2011 Frist Humanitarian Award. He and his wife have 7 children together and are active members at Grace Presbyterian Church. Together they enjoy triathlon and have completed Ironman Florida for the past 10 years consecutively.
