He continues to serve with the 131st at Whiteman Air Force Base as part of the Missouri Air National Guard. He served overseas in Afghanistan and Iraq multiple times between 2011 and 2018.When Dr. Swope is not caring for patients, he enjoys spending time with his family, camping, and snowboarding. He also enjoys water sports and outdoor motorsports.
