Dr. Roy E. Hanks Has had extensive training in a variety of surgical diseases. He is experienced in the treatment of diseases of the breast, thyroid, hernia, stomach, esophagus, intestine, colon and rectum. Dr. Hanks has a special interest in minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery. He is currently the director of the General Surgery Residency Program at Mount Clemens Regional Medical Center.
Dr. Hanks received his undergraduate degree at the University of Illinois and his medical training at the University of Osteopathic Medicine & Health Sciences. He completed both his internship and residency at Mount Clemens Regional Medical Center.
He is board certified in general surgery.
