Dr. James H. McQuiston is a surgeon with a special interest in minimally invasive surgery and cancer surgery. He has special expertise in endocrine surgery, including thyroid and parathyroid disease. Dr. McQuiston is board certified in general surgery and critical care.
He received his medical training at the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. McQuiston completed his internship and residency in general surgery at Detroit Osteopathic Hospital.
His interests include all aspects of general surgery and surgical critical care. He is the co-director of Critical Care at Mount Clemens Regional Medical Center. An active staff physician, Dr. McQuiston is the former chairperson of the Department of Surgery.
Dr. McQuiston has been a member of the Northeast Surgical Group since 1988. In addition, he is an active member of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons and serves on its Board of Governors.
