Dr. Vollbracht has had an interest in headaches over his 20+ years in Private Practice in Clearwater. He has developed a specialty practice in headache and BOTOX(r) treatments. Dr. Vollbracht is a Diplomate in headache medicine having received the Certificate in Headache Medicine (United Council for Neurologic Subspecialities-UCNS). He is a member of the American Headache Society and International Headache Society. Dr. Vollbracht has been elected to fellowship status by the American Headache Society and American Academy of Neurology.
traditional headache management, he started utilizing BOTOX(r) for neurological conditions such as cervical dystonia, stroke spasticity, facial spasms and chronic migraine. He has treated over a thousand patients with BOTOX(r). He completed the MENTORS program and advanced seminars in BOTOX(r) treatments. He lectures to the medical community and trains other physicians. Dr. Vollbracht was selected as a principal investigators in a Phase III Preempt study of BOTOX(r) in Migraine. Dr. Vollbracht, in 2012, was recognized with a "Best Doctor" award by US News & World Report. Dr. Vollbracht educates other physicians. He has been selected by Allergan to train other physicians in the use of Botulinum Toxin. In 2012/2013 he has done Grand Rounds on Migraine at Morton Plant Hospital and lectured at the Southern Neurological Society on Peripheral Nerve Blocks and Botox Injection techniques. Hobbies include Tournament Bridge where he is a Gold Life Master with over 2500 Master Points competing at Regional and National Tournaments. He is a less accomplished Golf and Tennis Player.
