Robert J. Cusumano, M.D., F.A.C.S graduated Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University in Cambridge, MA. He attended medical school at New York University School of Medicine. He then completed an Otolaryngology residency at New York University Medical Center. He proceeded to round out his training with a Fellowship in Head and Neck Surgery at The Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx.
Dr. Cusumano served as a full time assistant professor at the State University of New York in Brooklyn, Montefiore Medical Center and Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Following his academic teaching career, Dr. Cusumano began a private practice in Paramus, New Jersey. He is currently the Director of the Department of Otolaryngology at The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, NJ. He has attained board certification from the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Otolaryngology. Dr. Cusumano belongs to a number of medical societies, including the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, American College of Surgeons, American Medical Association, and the American Head and Neck Society.
