Ripple Doshi, M.D., is a board-certified physician specializing in interventional cardiology, nuclear cardiology and general consultative and non-invasive cardiology. He is a member of Advanced Heart Group, S.C., with offices in Harvey and Flossmoor. A native of the Detroit area, Dr. Doshi completed his undergraduate and medical school training at a competitive six-year combined B.S./M.D. program affiliated with Kent State University at the Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine. He received his clinical training at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. Prior to completing an interventional cardiology fellowship, he performed a three-year fellowship in cardiovascular diseases and a three-year residency in internal medicine, also at Rush University Medical Center. During his training, he received such accolades as Resident of the Year and Chief Cardiology Fellow for Rush University Medical Center. Dr. Doshi has special expertise in managing coronary artery disease through techniques such as coronary angioplasty and stenting, including procedures performed through the radial (or wrist) artery. He is trained in interventions for peripheral arterial disease, including angioplasty and stenting of the legs, and renal (kidney) artery angioplasty.
, Dr. Doshi is fully trained in general cardiology and performs transesophageal and transthoracic echocardiograms, and interprets nuclear stress tests. He has presented original research at numerous national meetings, including the American College of Cardiology and the Society for Coronary Angiography and Interventions. Dr. Doshi is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular diseases and nuclear cardiology, and board eligible in interventional cardiology. He is accepting new patients.
