As a Neuroradiologist, I believe that I must always strive for: 1. Excellence in clinical imaging for the best patient care, 2. Excellence in teaching for medical student, resident, and fellow education, and 3. Excellence in translational research in order to innovate and apply new technology and ideas into clinical practice. I believe in a team approach within my department as well as with my clinical colleagues, as a multidisciplinary team approach truly provides the best patient care possible. I offer compassionate care to my patients when doing a wide number of procedures and when discussing their imaging studies with them.
My professional interests within Neuroradiology are wide, as I find all aspects of my job fascinating. My extensive training and ongoing self-study allows me to provide service for all aspects of diagnostic Neuroimaging and many procedures. My diagnostic interests include: Neurovascular Imaging; Brain and Spine tumor imaging; Head and neck radiology; PET/CT imaging; Stroke imaging; Trauma imaging; Perfusion Imaging; Diffusion Imaging; and fMRI. My procedural interests include: CT and Ultrasound guided biopsies of the head & neck, spine, and paraspinal lesions; and minimally invasive spine procedures such as Pain Injections, Epidural Blood Patches, Discography, and Myelography.
