I've lived in Jacksonville since 1978, when I started my first job as a pediatric physician at the Naval Hospital at NAS Jacksonville. The great weather and laid-back lifestyle of this area make it a great place to live and work. My wife and I have five kids and 10 grandkids, so, between spending time at the office and spending time with my family, I stay pretty busy. I make time to give back to my community by volunteering for Kairos Prison Ministry, which addresses the spiritual needs of prisoners in our area. I also enjoy playing tennis, traveling and participating in the music ministry at my church.
