A gardener at heart, Dr. Ramani Reddy is a board certified physician with UT Internal Medicine Lenoir City where she joined the practice in 2006. Originally from Chennai, India, Dr. Reddy attended medical school at Stanley Medical College in India, had a graduate assistantship in microbiology and completed her residency at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. Dr. Reddy speaks English, Hindi, Telugo, Tamil and French. Her areas of clinical interest are women’s health, cardiac care and obesity. She is a member of the American College of Physicians, American Society of Internal Medicine and Green Peace.
Dr. Reddy focused her career on internal medicine because of its diversification. "I chose primary care as my specialty because I like to be involved in preventive medicine and to be involved with the different aspects of medicine," she says.
