Although a native to India, Dr. Milan N. Sheth’s studies brought him to New York, and then he made is home here in East Tennessee. He is a board certified physician with UT Internal Medicine Lenoir City where he joined in 2007. Originally from Ahmedabad, India, Dr. Sheth attended B.J. Medical College in India, and then he traveled overseas to complete his residency at New York Methodist Hospital. Dr. Sheth speaks English, Hindi and Gujarati. His areas of clinical interest are cardiology, gastroenterology and preventative medicine. He is a member of the American Medical Association. Dr. Sheth was drawn to internal medicine because of its challenging and diverse nature. "I chose primary care as my specialty because I enjoy the challenge it presents," he says. "I also enjoy working with my patients on preventative medicine. It is very rewarding." Dr. Sheth and his wife, Jayshree, have two children: Niral and Ronik. In his free time, he enjoys sports, music and reading.
