Dr. Banghar earned a medical degree from Seth G.S. Medical College and King Edward Memorial Hospital, University of Bombay, India. He then completed a residency in internal medicine from University of Bombay. He moved to the United Kingdom where he trained in hematology. He relocated to the United States and completed his internal medicine residency at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit, MI in 1998. He practiced as a hospitalist for 3 years and subsequently completed fellowship training in medical oncology and hematology from Henry Ford Hospital.
He served as a chief fellow in his final year. He moved to Arizona in 2004 and joined the practice in 2006. He is board certified in medical oncology.
